SERVING

The church is a group of people; it’s not a random group of people. The church is God’s chosen people, the committed members who use their gifts and talents for the glory of God’s name, together.

At Providence, we believe that God chose his people to live, serve, and work together with their God-given abilities and talents (1 Peter 2:9, Acts 2:42; 1 Corinthians 12:14, 18, 24). To live this out, we created serving teams on Sunday mornings. Whether it be greeting people in the parking lot or advancing slides during a gathering, every person’s contribution matters, and we are able to live this out together tangibly on Sundays.

Below are different serving areas. We’d encourage you to prayerfully consider where God might be calling you to serve. To start serving, fill out the form below and our ministry coordinator will connect with you!

Not all serving team volunteers are required to be members, but for the sake of union and discretion, we have several serving teams that do require the volunteer to be a member. These are noted with an (*) below.

Our SERVING Teams

  • Before the 8:30 am Gathering

This team prepares our space to receive newcomers and Providence family members each and every week. They set out chairs to ensure each person has a place to sit, and put up our outdoor flags to let people know we are here!

  • After the 10:30 am Gathering
